13th Sarajevo Business Forum
At the opening ceremony of the 13th Sarajevo Business Forum, numerous officials, business leaders, political representatives, economic experts, and media outlets from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as countries from the region and around the world, were present.
Speakers included the CEO of BBI Bank, Alek Bakalović, the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, Zlatko Mijatović, and the Chairman of the Sarajevo City Council, Jasmin Ademović.
Alek Bakalović emphasized the importance of the Forum as a platform for connecting investors and entrepreneurs, highlighting the economic potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through panels, workshops, and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences in financial management, investments, infrastructure development, and business consulting.
“Sarajevo Business Forum is BBI Bank’s leading socially responsible project, representing a long-term commitment to the development of our country and the community in which we operate. We are dedicated to fostering positive economic and social impact,” Bakalović stated.
This year’s Forum gathered representatives from more than 40 countries, focusing on topics such as investment opportunities, regional cooperation, tourism, and digital transformation.
Minister Zlatko Mijatović highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships and the support of local institutions in creating a favorable business environment, while Jasmin Ademović extended a warm welcome to all participants, emphasizing Sarajevo’s role as a central hub of regional business connectivity.
SBF 2024 is held on May 22 and 23 and includes a series of panels, workshops, and presentations covering business growth, investment opportunities, and financial stability in the region.
